The wine and beers are cheap and the outdoor seating area is nice. Then indoor one is crowded and noisy, not the best bet if you want to hear your pals talking. The food is so so - nice but not memorable and overpriced. The best option on the menu is probably the crab meat pasta or the roasted chicken. The staff seemed overwhelmed - we were asked to move tables a few times, regardless of the fact we had booked in advance. Id say it's a nice place for an after-work drink with colleagues but don't set your expectations too high when it comes to the food or service.
Pretty crowded during lunch hour. Expect a wait for the staff to take your order. But the pork ribs ($29) was juicy and yummy.
Decent lunch spot but some of the food items we ordered could be improved. The pasta was a bit overcooked and had a soft, almost mushy texture. The truffle fries were good.
Awesome place in the heart of CBD. Giving it a five for the following considerations- Smooth Wine, Aromatic Coffee and a combination of Whisky-Spirits with decent food to choose from (Wraps, Pasta, Burgers, Tapas by evening). I haven’t yet tried breakfast but have heard that it’s a worthy one. The environment seems to have become an eco-system of professionals to walk-in, have chit-chat and good food for thought !!
Nice waitering staffs. good bar grubs. and easy venue for afterwork quick booze or a nice quick luncheon.
"Lets have a talk after work" type of place.
I had great service and good food (crab roll and burger). Will be back again.
Best K Blanc in SG so far .... Food is good as well.
The best toast and eggs in Singapore. Excellent service as well. This place also tends to attract a lot of cheapos who pay $3 for coffee and expect service as though they've ordered food for $100. They behave like they've never ordered toast for $10 before and tend to be so cringy about it. I usually take the corner seat to avoid them. It's a very nice place and sparks your creativity.
The croissant is soft and flaky and it goes very well with the creamy scrambled eggs and glazed bacon chop. The bacon chop is a good balance of sweet and salty and it reminds me of a very thick bak kwa! Pretty impressed with the attentive service as well
Great place for after work drinks if you work around the area. They have decent offers on lunch menus as well. Service is nice with a funny sense of humour which is quite entertaining.
A go to drink place after work. The staff are friendly and actually remember me and my friends which I appreciate a lot. The menu has changed since the start (I very much preferred the previous version of chicken wings), but there's a lot more variety now. My new favorite is the truffle potato chunks. Beers on tap include asahi, 1664 blanc and conner's. Go on a Wednesday and ladies get 50% off!
Great service. Good location. Dependable food and quality.
Very nice place to chill.Nice and cheap beer!!Sad that Daniel may be closing one outlet
Bad service. Found hair on cole slaw but the waitress never apologized and just gave us a new one without saying anything. Will never go back. Food is average.
Lack of staff for a crowded restaurant on a weekend. A few items not available on the menu. Food and service was mediocre compared to the other outlet. Was being ignored when I try to ask the waiter to ask about our "missing" fries. In the end, waiter told us he forget to include our order of fries. Disappointed.
They have Tapas Tuesday so tapas are 1-for-1. We had the scallops which are pretty good, though i prefer the one at Serendipity in Vivo. I had the pork chop, thought it was great. My girlfriend had the crabmeat pasta which was pretty ordinary.
Nice ambience and satisfying food. Average portion
Used eatigo at a business building for a filling breakfast in the morning!
Liked their coffee but their sweet potato fries got me sick for 1.5 weeks!
Good food, ingredients are fresh and however, slightly pricey. My favourites are the brunch menu and the Norwegian Trout. Make reservations in advance and you do not need to wait for a table during lunch hours. Overall, five star rating as this is very convenient in CBD area for lunch, dinner or drinks.
We were here a few weeks ago. Food was poor value for money even with discount app. All the prices you see are inflated. I would not visit again.
Amazing restaurant serving perfect drinks in a beautiful ambience. We came here with friends and had a great time.
Cozy lunch with colleague. This is still my fave dish on the menu! Comfort food at it's best! And that flavoured cured thick bacon with fluffy eggs. 'Nuff said! 😋😋
Good service recovery, bad experience. We were given two free cocktails because they forgot our order for 40mins...And the experience also went south, with a very bad tasting “melted camerbert” appetiser which wasn’t checked or replaced even after both my partner and I raised the issue to the manager on duty. We are given the “its our supplier, we’ll check with them” response for the off tasting appertiser. There is an odd plastic-ky taste to the melted camerbert. Please avoid this.
Convenient place to meet-up for coffee/tea during the day, or cold beer at night
Salmon was perfectly done, with that slightly hint of pink rawness to retain moisture. Fish & chips were a sizeable portion. Very worth it with Entertainer! Pulled pork and crab roll were decent, but not amazing.
Loved the atmosphere, food was delectable
Great food, great location. Nice and fast service. 5stars
Great place for pints after work at reasonable prices, especially on Mondays! They also have a great selection of bar food that's good for group sharing. I would recommend anyone looking to wind down after work to visit this place!
Nice service, comfortable place with well priced meals that are prepared fast. Good for a quick lunch.
Super salty pasta. But they claimed that its not.. I used another cup of hot water to wash off the saltiness before eating it.I'm looking forward for a decent plate of pasta.. It's rather average.. And it's broken in pieces. Not long chewy pasta. It's like 老鼠粉 me-tai-mak.. LolFor another main, we order a pork chop. It's really normal.. Not worth for paying that price. Oo0o0opss
Delicious burger and pulled pork pasta. Must try is a salmon avocado wrap! But It’s only availability from 11am till 3pm.
Best wrap ever! The scrambled eggs in the wrap was so creamy and tasty. The avocado and cheese blended so well with the eggs! I could hardly finish mine. Such a good portion! Great service as well! Thank you Rookery!
Awesome food and ambiance with decent service. Unfortunately, operated by an unethical management. After many visits and saving up several loyalty rewards, am suddenly told the rewards cannot be redeemed despite the 30 Apr expiry date. Bringing this issue to the public since my PMs are seen and ignored. You complain about your landlords of many years and yet you do the same to your customers. Sigh...
Serves good food and has a good menu. During peak times tends to have long waiting time though. Price is on the higher side but food is good nonetheless
raw kurobuta pork served, when staff was informed, took the same piece and cooked it again...service recovery was decent when highlighted but raw pork is not acceptable
Perfect with entertainer 1 for 1 or eatigo 50% off. Try the croissant - i smelled them baking it (or at least heating it up) and i knew i had to have it. Not to toot my own horn, but i was right - fantastic! The servings were a bit small but they'll do. Poached eggs were ok.
Delicious. Service is good too
Pretty bummed that majority of their mains were OOS by 1pm during weekday lunch. Nevertheless the crab pasta was amazing! Generous portion of crab for the price of $24. Will come back again.
Food is good. Tried some fishy mains: salmon and seasonal catch, which I think was halibut that time. Both were creative and great. No overcooked fish. The mains came with healthier sides too like zoodles instead of the usual pasta and mashed sweet potato (or was it pumpkin? Cant remember). The down side is that neither of those mains are filling so perhaps add some appetizers/sides. A bit expensive but reasonable with eatigo discount.
Not a bad place; fast service. Water self serve. Burger was flavorful yet not salty. The pork chop was more than slightly over-salted unfortunately, it was a very thin slice. So I don’t think it was value for money. Even for 1-for-1 mains on Burpple app, it’s 34+ for our food.(burger and pork chop). I would not come specially for the limited (3 choices) lunch mains. Very crowded around 1pm. Nice beer choices too!
Nice place for brunch! We got a baked salmon Benedict and a eggs and toast!
Great bar with great food in the heart of CBD. Tha wagyu was 🤩 crispy pork belly was 👌🏻 while hot. Really enjoyed my time. Wish I hadn't left my umbrella there.
Always accommodating and good rates on drinks in town! Good place for do's and friends
Central in the central business district ... Crowded at lunch obviously
The staff was friendly, the food was awesome. Consider a quiet place for chilling and gathering with friends during weekend.
Fine eggs Benedict! Fresh toast, not over burnt, well done poached eggs
